Hello, Paul Goldschmidt to the St. Louis Cardinals

Today, December 5, 2018, St. Louis Cardinals and Arizona Diamondbacks announced - 1B Paul Goldschmidt will say good-bye to Arizona, hello Missouri. He will officially be wearing the Cardinals "Birds on the Bat" uniform in 2019

Yes, Cardinals fans, Christmas comes early. Announced today, "the deal" to bring 1B Paul Goldschmidt to the St. Louis Cardinals became reality.

Cardinals catcher Carson Kelly, pitcher Luke Weaver and prospect IF Andrew Young will travel to join the Diamondbacks. Only the best to the trio, especially Kelly. Hope now he will be able to get his just due. Will keep him on my radar for sure.

All I can say is that "holding the faith" paid off. Our Cardinals strength just increased two-fold.

Cardinals will hold a press conference this Friday, December 7, to introduce our newest player.

It is going to be a very Merry Christmas, indeed.
