A Poem for (some) St. Louis Cardinals fans

Once upon a time, in a land called Cardinals Nation
Was a group of fans desperate, for a World Series celebration
Most would complain, and some would cheer
A lot of them drunk, on $12 beer
They took to social media, yet still attended games
While bashing the front office, and calling players names
They were ready to move on, from greats like Waino & Yadi
But where were they, when we had Tom ****ing Pagnozzi?
”DeWitt is cheap” and “Mo needs fired”
They still hate on Matheny, even this Shildt guy that we hired
Some embrace, and others hate, “The Cardinal Way”
But would they complain, if Albert chose to stay?
Would they have wanted to trade Gibby? and not grew tired of Stan?
is this the 90’s Cardinals? Shit would hit the fan
Armchair GM’s, they could do better so it seems
They hate everything, even our broadcast team!
Out with the old, in with the new...
Best Fans in baseball? Do we still have a few?
